Father's Day Card

Have had a nice weekend visiting my daughter and her family down in Manchester.  Lovely to see our little grandson and it is amazing how he has changed so much every time we see him.  Just wish we lived nearer!
We are off in the caravan in a couple of weeks for our hols so  I have to get myself organised card wise for those people with birthdays etc while we are away I made a start with this Father's day card for Jim's Dad
The image is from Tiddly Inks (just loving these) and the backing papers are from Kirsty Wiseman.

Thanks for looking.

Fabulous Digi Stamps

Have a new addiction - Tiddly Inks digi stamps.  I have bought a few and just waiting for all the new princesses to go on sale.  They print off wonderfully and are great fun to colour.  I love the instant gratification buying digi stamps as I'm afraid I'm not very good at waiting for parcels!
Here are two cards I made today.........
The backing paper on this one is from Kirsty Wiseman's Colourburst of Fanciful Things CD-Rom

Special Birthday present for a friend

Have spent quite some time making this for a good friend's birthday.  We always make each other something crafty and it is nice to give something personal.  She loves her cats and I hope she will like it and hang it up in her kitchen.

Some special birthdays coming up for a couple of friends so Big cards were the order of the day.
The first is for my friend Carole, who loves all things Magical so I thought this Mo Manning image would work a treat......
The second card is for someone who wants no numbers to remind her how old she is.......
The image is from Tammy Thompson and the wonderful poppy backing paper is from the multi talented Kirsty Wiseman's  Colourburst of Fanciful Things CDRom.

A Canvas at last and some cards

I have had a pack of four canvases in my craft room for ages and I have finally done the first one!

I am quite pleased with it and and am going to try and continue with the inspirational word themes for the next one.
Glimmer misted well and truly
Even the butterfly had a dusting of glimmer mist!
A wonderful Mo Manning image used on a card for an order.  Hope he likes it!
Another Mo Manning image that I had great fun paper piecing.  Can see me using this one a lot for my card box at work.

Just A Few Cards

Having had a few days away in our Caravan, chilling out I am now back to the reality of work, shopping and
housework!!!  So I thought a little Craft time would cheer me up so here's what I made .......
I made this for my brother using the Special Charity Digi stamp "Ronnie" for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It was great fun to colour but I might try paper piecing the chair next time.
My very first attempt at colouring with Distress Inks using the create a scene canal set.  One for my Father in law's birthday I think.
A card for a girl at work .............and in more detail

And finally a "Man" card. I paper pieced his shirt (I know someone who would love a shirt like this!)
