More from Mo Manning
I made this for my great nephew Ethan.
Hope he likes it!
This is a "just because" sort of card for someone who needs to know you are thinking of them.
Mo's Challenge Blog Entry 2
This is my card for the challenge, which this time is to use Fall colours. This is so like my friend Anne's dog that I couldn't resist it.
The papers are from pink petticoat including the punched out flowers and the image is of course from Mo Manning. I am seriously addicted to these at the moment as I think they have a wonderful gentle quality to them. I have to check every morning to see what the wonderful Mo has added.

Catching up
It has been so long since I last blogged but i do have a good excuse. The arrival of our first grandchild, the very gorgeous Connor Jack, who is an absolute darling. Unfortunately we do live a fair distance away so do not get to see him as much as we would like but his Mum and Dad are very good at sending little videos and pictures. Roll on end of October when I can cuddle him again!
Having to do so many extra hours at work at the moment has seriously cut into my crafting time but hopefully a new member of staff will be starting shortly so things should ease off.
I have though recently discovered the wonderful Mo Manning images and have started to make some Christmas cards with them
I love digital images as you can change the size to whatever suits your card. No problems colouring with promarkers as long as you leave a couple of hours after printing and use good paper.

Pixie chick meets cute companions
A card I have made for Another Blog Candy with a Twist, this is fabulous candy and I am keeping my fingers crossed, you can see it here . I had great fun making this card as I like paper piecing and I have plans for more. I love the pixie chicks from Charmed crafts and the great bonus is you can download them straight away,no hanging around waiting for the postman.
Huge Dragon
This is the dragon I painted for the Summer Reading Challenge in the library ,where I work. he measures 6 foot by 5 foot so I had to paint him on the kitchen floor at home, this did cause some problems with an inquisitive Dog (George, our miniature schnauzer) who quite liked the idea of green feet! The children are writing their names on punched out circles and they are going on the dragon's body as scales, so hopefully by the end of the holidays he will be a very scaly dragon.

Black and Silver card
Busy day at work this morning but found time this afternoon to make a card.
This is a ketto image and I have finally used some card from a Kanban TSV, which I feel I have stroked for long enough now. Silly isn't it how some card and paper just needs to be looked at and not actually used. The extra flowers are punched from glitter card and the centres are black diamond stickles.
