What are little boys made of

I made this card this afternoon just because I loved the image. I will put it in my card box at work. It's another fantastic image from Mo Manning coloured with Promarkers.I am gradually getting the hang of these but I need to concentrate more on the shading!

Smiles and Thanks for looking.

CHA Relay Contest

This is my entry for day one of The Greeting Farm's CHA Relay Contest. I really want to take part in all of this but work may be a factor. I will just have to be organised with my time.

New cards for order

Every New Year my Sister in law gives me a detailed list of the cards, she would like me to make for the year. These are the cards for February.

Made for a little girl who likes
making cakes
For a little boy who likes ladders and trucks

A general card

A special Birthday card for a friend

I enjoy doing these as it is a challenge sometimes to find the right image for what she wants.

Work Displays

After taking down all the Christmas displays the Children's library looked a bit bare so I have put up another large display "The Reading Tree". I have cut out lots of leaves and the children will write on the title of their favourite book and add the leaves to the tree, so hopefully come Spring it will be covered in leaves.

My friend and workmate Carole and I made stained glass windows for Christmas and these proved very popular so we made another set to be used all year and they are certainly worth the time and effort they took as they look very effective!

Catching up

It is ages since I last blogged but I am off work at mo with a stinking cold so I thought I would take some time to catch up. Had a really nice Christmas and New Year seeing family and friends, although all the snow made travelling difficult at times. It was wonderful to see my Darling Grandson Connor, lots and lots of cuddles and kisses.Next Christmas he will have more idea about what is going on and I am really looking forward to that.

Photo from a set taken by the fabulous Kirsty Wiseman.
My daughter arranged for Kirsty to do a session so
we could all have fabulous framed photos for Christmas.
Thanks Kirsty.

My wonderful husband gave me a voucher for a craft shop and I have treated myself to some alcohol inks after seeing Sheena Douglass demoing them on Create and Craft. Will have to wait til I stop sneezing before I use them or it could get very very messy!
On to some cards I have made recently .....
This is my first easel card made from the Back to nature CD by Polka Doodles. I am eagerly awaiting delivery of the new one Love & Cherish.

Back To Nature CD

From Back to Nature CD again.

This card was made using an image from the wonderful Mo Manning. I thought it was a bit different from the usual Anniversary card.
